PCA, Kris L'Heureux headshot

Kris L'Heureux

I'm Kris and I'm from from Worcester. I'm majoring in Exercise and Sports Science with plans to become a Physician's Assistant. A fun fact about me is when I was 6 years old I jumped off a moving train, and still have a scar from it. My favorite place on campus is the ceramics room. My advice for first year students is make sure to use your resources, such as advising and study rooms. You'll be surprised at how much they might help! Everything is trial and error, but if you're having a problem, it's very easy to find help on campus. Don't be shy to ask for help because it will bite you in the end.

Paige Littizzio

I'm Paige and I'm from Rutland, MA. I am studying Psychology and looking to one day become a Behavioral Psychologist and work with young kids. A fun fact about myself is I have two nephews and I love to babysit and play with them. One of my favorite places on campus is the dining hall because my friends and I go to dinner together and have great conversations while we eat. My advice would be to join groups, clubs, or a campus activity that may spark you interest. It’s always nice to get out of your dorm and see what the campus has to offer because there is always something for everyone. Always ask questions even if you’re only a little bit lost or confused, your professors and tutors/advisors are always here to help you succeed.

Rita Pires CSA Peer Assistant

Rita Pires

I'm Rita Pires, I'm from Brockton, MA. I'm currently a Public Health major student. As of right now, I'm not sure what I want to do with my degree but I'm very passionate about Health and Wellness. A fun fact about me is that I'm bilingual, I speak Cape Verdean Creole fluently. My favorite place on campus is really any small study areas throughout the campus, especially rooms in the Antonucci building. I typically go there after hours when it's pretty much empty and quiet which helps me to focus a lot.  Advice I have for first year students is to try and put yourself out there each and every day, it really does make a difference.

Nashani Swain

My name is Nashani Swain, and I am from Brockton, MA. I am majoring in psychology with a minor in criminal justice. With my degree, I would like to go into counseling, although I am not sure if I want to work with children or adolescents. I am still trying to figure that out. My favorite place on campus is my room because it is nice and cozy. A fun fact about myself is that my favorite animals are butterflies. Some advice I would give a first-year student is to stay open-minded to all the new experiences college has to offer. You will have the time of your life if you are open to trying new things.
